Delete your account

You can delete your TrulyWisely account and its data at any time. There are two ways, and neither requires you to talk to anyone.
In the app (fastest)
- Open TrulyWisely
- Go to Profile → Account → Delete account
- Type DELETE to confirm
Deletion begins immediately.
By email (if you no longer have the app)
Write to privacy@trulywisely.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify it is really you, then delete within 7 working days and confirm when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and every detail on it
- All your photos, including your reference photo
- Your liveness selfie and all facial comparison data
- Your birth details and computed horoscope
- Your messages, matches, likes and passes
- Your notification tokens and preferences
- Your sign-in credentials
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no way to recover the account. Signing up again later means starting over, including re-verification.
What is kept, and why
- Payment records — retained as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. These contain transaction records, not your profile.
- Safety records — if your account was removed for a serious safety violation, we keep a minimal record so the account cannot immediately be recreated.
- Messages you sent may remain visible to the person who received them, in the same way an email you have sent stays in the recipient's inbox.
Cancel your subscription first
If you have an active premium subscription, cancel it before deleting so you are not charged again — Profile → Premium → Cancel subscription. See the refunds and cancellation policy.
