Refunds & cancellation
Last updated 3 August 2026
Cancelling — the short version
Open the app → Profile → Premium → Cancel subscription. That's it. No email, no phone call, no retention script.
You keep premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. You are not charged again.
How auto-renewal works
Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term — monthly, 3-monthly, 6-monthly or yearly, depending on what you chose. You authorise this once, when you subscribe, and your bank or UPI app notifies you before each charge.
Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
Refunds
Because premium is a digital service delivered immediately, we do not generally refund a period that has already started. When you cancel, you keep the access you paid for until the term ends.
We will refund in these cases:
- Duplicate charge — you were billed twice for the same period. Refunded in full.
- Charged after cancelling — refunded in full.
- The service was unusable for a sustained period because of a fault on our side, and you tell us during that term.
- Charge you did not authorise. Tell us immediately and we will investigate.
We generally will not refund because:
- You did not use the subscription during the term
- You did not find a match
- You forgot it would renew — though if you contact us promptly after an unwanted renewal, we will look at it in good faith
- Your account was suspended for breaking the terms of service
How to request one
Write to support@trulywisely.com with the email on your account and the approximate date of the charge. We acknowledge within 2 working days and decide within 7 working days.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank typically takes a further 5–7 working days to post it — that part is outside our control.
If we end your subscription
If we discontinue premium entirely, we refund the unused portion of your current term on a pro-rata basis.
